Your Next 30 Days with AI - The AI Collective Group
Start Here: Your Next 30 Days with AI
Week 1
Build Your Setup
Write your system promptOpen Claude or ChatGPT settings. Write 2 to 3 sentences: your job, your audience, how you like answers formatted. Save it.
Create one ProjectName it after real work you do. Add your project instruction. Upload one document you actually use, like a brief, a deck, or a template.
Set up NotebookLMGo to notebooklm.google.com. Create a notebook and upload 2 to 3 sources you reference often. Ask it one question and see what comes back.
End of week checkDo you have a working Project with instructions and at least one document loaded? If yes, week 1 is done.
Week 2
Run a Real Workflow
Pick one real taskSomething you actually have to do this week. An email, a proposal, a summary. Not a practice run.
Run a prompt chainStep 1: ask for a first draft. Step 2: ask for the 3 weakest parts. Step 3: ask it to rewrite with those fixed. Three prompts, not one.
Push back onceWhatever it gives you, say "that is not quite right because..." and tell it why. Notice how the next version changes.
End of week checkDid you use AI for something real? Did you iterate at least twice? Good. That is the habit.
Week 3
Tool Match Challenge
Use Perplexity for researchPick something you would normally Google. Search it in Perplexity instead. Check the citations it gives you. Are they real?
Build a Gemini GemGo to gemini.google.com and create a Gem for one task you repeat. Give it your role, your audience, and your preferred format.
Ask NotebookLM something hardGo back to your notebook and ask a question that requires connecting two sources. See if it can do it.
End of week checkWhich tool felt most natural? That is your go-to. The others are backup.
Week 4
Audit and Commit
Write down 3 prompts that workedOpen a doc or note. Write your 3 best prompts from the past 3 weeks word for word. This is the start of your prompt library.
Note what did not workWrite one thing AI got wrong or could not do for you. Knowing the limits is part of fluency too.
Teach one person one thingExplain a prompt, a tool, or a workflow to someone who was not at the workshop. If you can teach it, you have learned it.
End of month checkYou have a setup, a workflow, a tool preference, and a prompt library. That is deploying AI.
